Copa Holdings Announces 18.6% Traffic Growth for August 2006
PANAMA CITY, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Copa Holdings, S.A. (NYSE: CPA), and its Copa Airlines and AeroRepublica operating subsidiaries, today released preliminary passenger traffic statistics for August 2006:

multiplied by the number of miles the seats are flown.

that is actually utilized.
For the month of August 2006, Copa Holdings' system-wide passenger traffic (RPM) increased 18.6%, while capacity (ASM) increased 17.7%. System load factor for August 2006 was 74.7%, an increase of 0.6 p.p. when compared to August 2005.
Copa Airlines passenger traffic (RPM) for August 2006 increased 19.7%, while capacity (ASM) increased 16.9%. This resulted in a load factor of 78.4%, an increase of 1.9 p.p when compared to August 2005.
AeroRepublica passenger traffic (RPM) for August 2006 increased 14.2%, while capacity (ASM) increased 20.4%. AeroRepublica's load factor for the month was 62.8%, a 3.4 p.p. decrease when compared to August 2005.
